These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by VM Appraisals, a tech-enabled residential appraisal firm and a ValueMate Company.
Program description
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in on a VM Appraisals form, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages from VM Appraisals for Customer Care, general inquiry, and service request communications related to residential appraisal services.
Messages may include:
- Responses to your inquiry or service request
- Appraisal scheduling, confirmations, and appointment reminders
- Status updates on your appraisal assignment
- Coordination with property contacts regarding inspection appointments
- Customer support related to your appraisal order
VM Appraisals does not use SMS/MMS messaging for marketing or promotional messages.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry, service request, or appraisal assignment. You may receive multiple messages during active coordination of an appraisal order, and fewer or no messages when no active communication is needed.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. VM Appraisals does not charge you for SMS/MMS messages, but your carrier may.
Opt-out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from VM Appraisals. After you reply STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and will not send further SMS/MMS messages unless you opt in again.

Consent and eligibility
SMS consent is optional and not required to purchase appraisal services. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have permission from the account holder for the mobile number you provide. You must be at least 18 years old to opt in.
Carriers and delivery
Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not share, sell, or rent your phone number, mobile information, personal information, text messaging opt-in data, or consent records to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
